The EBP sensor is responsible for measuring the pressure of exhaust gas in the system. The sensor is crucial for proper function of the turbocharger and EGR systems. The goal of this sensor is to ensure that exhaust gas is constantly able to exit the system. If there is a clog in the system; the pressure rating will increase and warn the ECU of possible damage to engine components.
