It's sealed solid link solenoid eliminates contact welding in low system voltage situations, providing enhanced reliability. The sealed noiseless configuration in this starter minimizes debris accumulation and contamination. This starter uniquely includes an integral magnetic switch (IMS) that ensures maximum voltage in any starting condition as well as rotatable flange models that help improve service flexibility.This Delco Remy 39MT 12 Volt Starter is specialized for Freightliner, CUMMINS , Detroit Diesel, Sterling Truck and Western Star applications with SAE 3 mounts. It features a 12 tooth pinion with a MOD 3.00 pitch and a solenoid position of 82 degrees.
